PDF has been delivering Master's Degrees for Veterinary Surgeons since 2001 when it supported a group of 8 Vets, sponsored by SPVS who were investigating whether a GP certificate was desirable, practical, achievable and feasible.
Since then, two more group projects have formed and are currently been supported, with others planned.
The PDF Masters Degree is delivered by PDF.Net and accredited by Middlesex University and the Centre for Work-based Studies. It is designed to enable senior vets to consolidate their learning and professional development as they deliver value to the profession, or their business, through supported practitioner research. It involves working at Master’s level and can be studied on its own or as part of a full Master’s degree or beyond (Doctorate level).
It is suitable for experienced practitioners who do not need a significant taught element.
