The A and B modules cover the range of competencies expected from an experienced practising GP veterinary surgeon. As such the modules are not ‘taught’. Instead, students learn to prepare a submission by which their expertise in these areas is acknowledged i.e. students use their own experience to illustrate their competence. Obviously this is a little different to undergraduate courses so students are provided with workshops and learning group meetings to assist them in developing their portfolio.
This Module covers the key professional skill required by a vet and includes:
Communication Skills
Personal Development
Welfare & Ethics
Inter-professional relationships
Practice teamwork and delegation
